JOB TITLE: Member Solutions Administrator

LOCATION: Sheffield

SALARY: £25,000.00 per annum

RESPONSIBLE TO: Member Solutions Manager

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Not Applicable

RELATIONSHIPS INSIDE THE ORGANISATION: Finance Personnel, Transave members, Transave Operators

RELATIONSHIPS OUTSIDE THE ORGANISATION: Payroll departments, TransUnion, External Debt agencies, Transave members, Quad, Progress systems and any other appropriate organisations or individuals

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To assist the Member Solutions team to maintain a robust approach to bad debt.

LIMITS OF AUTHORITY: As specified by Member Solutions Manager

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:

  • Good standard of education and experience in administrative procedures.
  • IT literate especially in Excel.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Must be able to cope under pressure and work on own initiative.
  • Can adapt and deal with changing technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS/ACTIVITIES:

  • Managing existing Direct Debits including Go Cardless reports
  • Dealing with emails and post daily
  • Monitoring arrears and assisting with their collection
  • Liaising with appropriate agencies such as Wilkin Chapman & HCEO’s.
  • Monitoring bad debt accounts including communication with individuals, agencies, and courts.
  • Maintaining accounts in Progress ensuring detailed notes are input when any action has been taken or when information has been received e.g., lists, letters, phone calls, post & emails
  • Liaising with wages & personnel departments in respect of payroll deductions
  • Assist the Admin team during busy periods
  • Any other tasks or duties deemed appropriate by the CEO / Board
